Hi All, well, I have hopefully joined matureanzacgamers successfully. The mature part really appeals to me. Being 57 in May this year makes me believe (lol) I might be mature? Age anyway, don't know about the totally mature bit.......
Seriously though, folk, I am trying to play 'young' people's games with the mind of an old fogey............but young at heart........but the two don't quite mesh, at least not yet.....after numerous bullet holes which have shredded my hide in an unrecognizable skin and my skull rebuilt after removing the shrapnel, I am no better a player. I can die real good though.
So I keep playing, and keep dying, most days I laugh at myself, but I also find I feel quite hurt when I get ridiculed...........stoooopid, I know, it is a game............and I like games.....
Some tolerance for learners and nubes would be great, seems to be lacking on some of the gameplays............I try to play MOHAA allied assault and COD2 with no great success. But I do like the games. And am downloading American Army at the moment, with great hopes. Soon to be dashed I suppose........but Ido like games.......and I will keep trying.
Eventually I will get good enough to shoot back and one day I might actually hit the target. Rofl............
It would be nice to be part of a community where I don't have to be an expert, or even a top player, and this community appears to be just what I need...........I hope, lol.
I don't care how many times I am shot, I would just like to be not the worst player on the internet...........if that is possible? lol.
but I do like the games.................
Luv computers, this is the fourth computer I have built for myself, after dying motherboards (no, they weren't all shot), power supplies dying, and dvd players extinguishing themselves............so again, I have a reasonable pc to play the games on I do like..........lol
Have two grown up girls. Two dogs. One cat. And yes, I remember to feed them, not put grenades beside their dishes, and try to remember not to point the broom at them when I am thinking of MOHAA or COD!
I find when I am driving, sometimes I line up other drivers with a mental machine gun, or wonder how it would be if I pointed a bazooka at them .............?? Damn these games make a person think all sorts of weird non reality options...........But I do like the games.
I go to work, and most mornings before I start, I turn the computer on to see if anyone is on playing..........most times they not, gone to work or school I suppose........guess they not keen then, what? lol
Anyways, great to be here, hope I get a bit better and become a reasonable opponent before I turn 60...............
