ping reading

Hi, someone my be able to help me, I've played MoH on this site a few time, but I keep getting a high ping reading, and I don't know why. I'm with optus wireless broadband, this is not hard wired in with a modem. I am only a street away from the transmission tower. I have done a ping teat and comes back at 154, the next night was 250, yet i am told it has reached as high as 800. Can some one tell me what needs to be done OR do i have to go ADSL, this is all new to me. Regards

Wireless for gaming? That sucks!!! Sorry.....

Really don't recommend wireless for gaming at all! I used to use it when I lived in NT and it was shocking. I don't think there is much you really can do.

Thanks guy, my optus contact is on the home run, looks like a new server for me. While I have been playing MoH I have been killed off by the same person countless of time, can't wait for ADSL-2 for some PAYBACK, ha ha ha ha ha. Their time is coming.
