Today I went on a front seat V8 Race Car Ride, around Eastern Creek.
What a friggin buzz, the first lap was what the driver (Luke) called a warm up lap, not bad then he started to put his foot down, there was only going to be 3 laps, but Luke said this was his final drive of the day, so he continued onto a fourth lap. Now if this was not a hot lap I do not know what is, F$^K me, it sat me in the back and both sides of the seat.
You have the choice to drive, back seat passenger or front seat. Take up the front seat drive first, because you get a real appreciation of what these guys can do with sticky tyres under them.
I'm thinking of doing the drive next, but Luke passed every driver on that track twice over and that is only in 4 laps. This guy could drive.
Do it if you can, it was fantastic.
