[[MAG] MAG Council]

These are the current BF3 Server Rules Please make sure you are Familiar with them.


All MAG members are responsible for the smooth running of the server. i.e.: If the teams are unbalanced swap sides. Most of all MAG members are to enforce the rules under which MAG operates. Every MAG member has the power to inform others of the Rules and ask other players to follow them.

1. Players may not use explicit, offensive or racist language in game. Players must show respect to all other players at all times.
   
   
2. Players are not to ignor requests from Server Administrators or to abusing Server Administrators.
   
   
3. No Player may shoot or attack into or out of the Deployment Zone on Conquest Maps. The only exception to this rule is when a fixed weapon such as a TOW Missile or Stationary AA gun is shooting out. Then you are only to engage those Stationary positions only.
   
   
4. No Player may take the enemies assets i.e. Vehicles and Aircraft in the Main Deployment Zone on Conquest Maps.
   
   
5. Assault Conquest Maps and Rush Maps have No Deployment Zones and May be attacked.
   
   
6. Players may not use a Mortar to shoot into or out of the Deployment Zone.
   
   
7. Players can only use the Stationary AA gun in the Deployment Zone to attack air targets not ground.
   
   
8. Air vehicles that are in combat with other air vehicles and retreat to the Deployment Zone are still considered in combat and may be destroyed.
   
   
9. Players may not place C4 on their own vehicle with the intent of ramming that vehicle into another. This is classified as C4 Ramming and is not allowed.
   
   
10. Players may not perform actions that hinder their own team. Such as deliberately killing of team mates, destroying friendly vehicles, destroying fixed buildings in the main Deployment. Deliberately placing themselves in a situation so they cause another player to team-kill them.
    
    
11. Players may not Stats-pad to benefit their own score. Such as Team swapping at the last minute to increase their own win / loss ratio or making an agreement with players of the opposite side that benefits their own score in game.
    
    
12. Players may not impersonate clan members or other server administrators.
    
    
13. Players may not change (hack) any core games files or effectively change game settings by employing external programs or cheats for the purposes of giving themselves an unfair advantage over other players. This would include but not limited to:

• MSX and other 3rd party software.
  
  
• Modification of weapons code.
  
  
• CVAR hacks which would make players appear Neon
  
  
• CVAR hacks that let players see thru walls or buildings
  
  
• Mini-Map hack so all players are visible
  
  
• Modification of Player Names which would alter their size or colours.
  
  
• Game Exploits.

Anyone that is found guilty of breaking anyone of these guidelines may be kicked or banned from the MAG servers!

MAG Server Rules For BC2 & C.O.D

All MAG members are responsible for the smooth running of the server. ie: If the teams are unbalanced swap sides and most of all enforce the rules and watch for tardish behaviour.

No Base Rape. The only time you can fire on a base is when your are being fire upon from the base, but if that fire is caused by base rape MAG members must fall back and tell other team mates to do so as well.

Players may not use explicit, offensive or racist language in-game.

Players may not impersonate clan members or other server administrators.

Players may not deliberately performing actions that hinder their own team (such as last-minute team-swapping to increase scores or statistics, excessive team-killing, destroying friendly vehicles, attacking team-mates,

deliberately placing themselves in a situation so they cause another player to team-kill them.

Making attacks on enemy main bases, including morter strikes or sustained infantry attacks.

Using C4 explosives on fast-moving vehicles to destroy other vehicles (C4-ramming)

Ignoring requests from Server Administrators or abusing Server Administrators.

RULES AND POLICIES APPLYING TO ALL PLAYERS ON RANKED SERVERS.
The following rules are ones that players are expected to abide by while playing on ranked servers. Any use of third-party programs or game exploits not listed below should be reported through one of the channels listed below.

Players may not change (hack) any core games files or effectively change game settings by employing external programs or cheats for the purposes of giving themselves an unfair advantage over other players. This would include but not limited to:

MSX and other 3rd party software.

Modification of weapons code.

CVAR hacks which would make players appear Neon

CVAR hacks that let players see thru walls or buildings

Mini-Map hack so all players are visible

Modification of Player Names which would alter their size or colors.

Game Exploits

Players may not use or exploit game mechanisms to artificially boost their score ("stats padding").

Anyone that is found guilty of breaking anyone of these guildliness may be kicked or banned from the MAG servers!

And Most Important Guideline Is To Have Fun And Work As a Team!
